Sally Harrington IS the bad witness.

Called to testify in the sensational “Mafia Boss Murder” trial unfolding in sunny California, journalist Sally Harrington is a key witness for the defense.  Not only had the deceased try to have her murdered  but his gangster brother has carried on the quest.

But it isn’t until Sally’s life is threatened yet once again—during the trial—do things really get interesting. That’s when the defense counsel accuses Sally—its own key witness—of being more interested in sleeping with the attractive police officer assigned to protect her than she is about showing up to testify.  The prosecution then trashes Sally’s reputation by trying to prove that her testimony is compromised because of sexual entanglements with almost every single person involved in the case!

This is Sally’s world, one where Sally seems to make more news than she reports. But whether the danger and intrigue involve Hollywood stars or celebrated Mafia dons, Sally Harrington is determined to see the truth come out and justice be served.   The question is if she will be alive to see it.

    Publisher's Weekly:

"Sally is a headstrong, risk-taking, sexy woman who thrives on fast action, danger and press attention… Subplots involving Hollywood stars and trendy issues like bisexuality abound, but the primary narrative proceeds with Sally on the witness stand in a cast. A shocking revelation from another witness livens up the mix"
