Last summer I closed out a storage unit of correspondence, files, books and memorabilia from my publishing career and temporarily stored the stuff in my living room in CT. Recreating this website was supposed to glavanize the conversion of piles and piles of print things to electronic records but I fear all the boxes are pretty much still where they were left. (Since the living room is 18 x 32 feet you can imagine what a MAJOR task this has become!)
So the deal is, a box a day may mean Christmas morning can return to the living room this year…
The box I tackled this morning had some foreign editions in it and here they are.
Above is the Israeli edition of “Riverside Drive,” which is kind of cool because the pages turn right to left.
England’s (below) was the best in ways because they created artwork based on photographs of the actual neighborhood in which the book takes place.
Here is an edition of “West End” from Italy
The best is the “Talk” jacket from Czech, not only for their artistic intrepretation of the plot, but for my new last name.
